Manual hvg-Robbe driven rear axle

 

Insert the two drive shafts into the
differential gear and secure them
with the provided safety clips.
Fix the bevel gear (like shown below)
with 4 countersunk screws M2x4
!Use threadlock!
Push onto each of the two drive
shafts 2 ball bearings (6x10x3) and
2 spacers (6,2x10x3).
Please respect picture shown sequence!
Place the two ball bearings (5x11x3) on the
short drive shaft. Afterwards you fasten
slightly the bevel gear use set-screw M3x3
(do not tighten the set screw yet).
Place assembled differential gear and
drive shaft (like picture shown) into
one of the differential housing halves.
Afterwards you set up carefully the
transmission unit for free and smooth
running, then tighten set-screw.
!Use threadlock!
Do not forget to use grease to get the
differential running smooth and quiet.
Insert the rubber stopper (like picture
shown) into the housing.

Assemble the differential housing with
the provided self tapping screws.
(caution do not over tighten screws)

Care screw holes are not on the same side.

hvg-Team Tip: We use a battery screw
driver to brake in the differential gear
to get a smooth running before mounting.
Place a brass washer onto each drive
shaft, afterwards inserted a drive pin
followed by the rim adapters.
Fixe each adapter with a washer and a nut.
(see pictures)
Insert two self tapping screws into the
open holes on each side of the
differential housing.
Insert the adapter caps into the adapters.
Align tires in pairs and mount them with
the provided hexagonal screws
And to the end of the assembly in such
a way it should look like this.
